Warranty
As a result of Evakool's stringent quality control some products have, following the identification of certain visible imperfections, been graded as a factory second. These imperfections are purely aesthetic in nature and DO NOT affect the insulation properties or performance. These imperfections are NOT covered by warranty.
Fibreglass iceboxes, white RF series Fridge / Freezers and yellow FM series Fridge / Freezers carry a five (5) year warranty which covers aspects of workmanship and joinery, including handles, feet, hinges and bungs. The above Fridges also carry Evakool's standard 5 year warranty on the compressor and electronics. However in view of the item being a factory second the warranty does NOT cover any aspect of interior or exterior finishes for the above fridges or iceboxes.
BCD series refrigeration units carry a 2 year warranty on the refrigeration system only.
AD series refrigeration units carry a 2 year warranty on the refrigeration system only.
SP80 and SP100 Evakool solar panels carry a 1 year warranty.
EP120 series power adapters carry a 6 month warranty.
EP12 and EP24 power adapter carry a 3 month warranty.
Plastic Iceboxes do not carry a warranty.
EDTM-W (Wireless thermometer) carries no warranty.
All other accessories carry no warranty.
The warranty terms for the above items are only applicable if sold through the Evakool Seconds website or through Evakool Factory .
If within the above warranty timeframe for the specified part (within the aforementioned limitations) Nexberg Pty Ltd will repair the item if faulty at no part or labour charge if;
- The fault occurs under normal circumstances during normal use and
- The fault is found to be caused by defective or faulty materials or workmanship
The warranty does not cover transport costs and in-transit insurance costs to and from:

If the product is to be returned, it should whenever possible, be returned in its original carton, or alternatively in suitable packaging so as to prevent damage to the product. Nexberg P/L will not accept responsibility for damage transit damage to the item.
Return for warranty repairs must, prior to dispatch from the customer, be authorized by Nexberg Pty Ltd on 07 5492 7777 and must quote the warranty repair reference number.
